CHRISTIAN EVENTS - Frequently Asked Questions
What is your refund policy?
No Refunds Are Allowed! We do not allow refunds as once you sign up your spot is confirmed. For Retreats we will allow you to transfer your ticket to someone of the same gender but it needs to be done a minimum of 10 days prior to the Retreat.
How many people will be at the Christian events?
We have had Christian events with 45 people, but have also had events with 6 people. We hope and believe that these local hubs will continue to grow as we plant seeds in the places God sends us hosts.
Will I get an email with more details? What happens if an event is cancelled?
Yes, you will get an email 48 hours prior to the event with the details. If we cancel the event for any reason we will send you a refund which will hit your bank account within 5-10 business days. Any questions regarding this please email our Events Manager at events@thechristiansocialhub.com.
Why is there a $20 charge if I am not a Hub Member?
We are a business and have costs. In order to be able to grow events in each area we need to be able to pay hosts, pay for marketing and to get the word out and for everyday business expenses. We want to make events affordable but also need to be realistic that our time is valuable and our hosts time is valuable. The best value is to join The Hub which will get you access to the local hubs for free.
What if I want to fly in, can you connect me with people in the area I can carpool with, share housing with?
No, we will not connect people before or even after the event. This is the beauty of joining the Hub as you can connect with each other after events and don’t just see people at a one off event. We simply have too many events, and meet too many people to connect you with so and so, who you think is from Colorado who was wearing a green sweater. If you are coming from out of town you are responsible for making your own arrangements.
How often will there be Christian Social events in my area?
We host Christian Social events once a month in the regions that we have hosts, but this takes time to build. We can’t promise anything at the moment until we get each area established.
