Long Island, New York Social Event for Christians
Whether you’re looking to make new friends, enjoy the ocean breeze, take a walk along the boardwalk, swim, play games, or simply unwind by the water, we’d love to have you join us for our 3rd Annual Long Beach Hangout!
We’ll meet at the Long Beach LIRR Station and walk to the beach together as a group. Long Beach is one of the most train-accessible beaches on Long Island, making it easy for both drivers and public transportation riders to attend.
Bring whatever will help you enjoy the evening beach chair, towel, sunscreen, snacks, water, games, books, or anything else you’d like. Feel free to come for the entire event or stop by for part of it. As the evening winds down, we’ll gather to watch the sunset over the water, scheduled for approximately 8:07 PM.
This event is rain or shine. If we experience light rain, feel free to bring an umbrella and join us for a walk along the boardwalk. In the event of severe weather, we will still meet at the Long Beach LIRR Station and relocate together to a nearby indoor location for fellowship and conversation.
We look forward to spending a fun summer evening together by the water and enjoying a beautiful Long Island sunset!
For those taking the LIRR, current schedules show a train arriving at Long Beach around 4:47 PM, Please check current schedules closer to the event date, as train times may change.

Cost: This event is Free for Hub Members with the promo code found in The Hub App or $20.00 for Non Hub Members + the cost of any food you might want to purchase at the beach.
Please note that events close at 12p.m. EST the day before the event.
