Long Island, New York Social Event for Christians
Celebrate the arrival of Fall as we gather for fellowship, fresh apples, beachside cooking, & beautiful autumn scenery on Long Island’s East End! We’ll begin with a leisurely walk through the picturesque apple orchard at Woodside Orchards featuring semi-dwarf apple trees.
Those interested in picking apples may purchase a U-Pick bag directly from the orchard (cash only, pricing determined by the orchard). Others are welcome to enjoy the fall atmosphere, explore the grounds, & connect.
Then we’ll head to Indian Island County Park, where we’ll set up near the beach for food, fellowship, & fun. Using some of the freshly picked apples, volunteers will help prepare simple seasonal treats like fresh apple cider, grilled apples, apple crisp, etc.
Optional beach & nature trail walks , games, beautiful waterfront views , & opportunities to meet & connect w/ other Christians from across Long Island & beyond.
